A T1 local access connection to the Internet that can be configured to carry either 24 digitized data channels or one aggregated concatenated data channel at a rate of 1.544 Megabits Per Second (Mbps) that is connected via a T1 Wan Interface Card (WIC), Channel Service Unit / Data Service Unit (CSU/DSU), and Internet router.

MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching):
MPLS is a standardized data switching technology that optimizes network traffic flow and eases management of data networks. Both voice and data can be run across the same DSL connection by using a filter to separate voice traffic from Internet traffic.

However, the distance to the local phone company central office where the copper POTS line is connected from the customer premise to the DSLAM will determine the potential speed of the DSL connection.
